YHI. Goddess of light and creation, and a solar deity, in Australian Aboriginal mythology.
IMURA. Meaning “dress” in Yoruba’s dialect. This official language is spoken in Nigeria, Benin and Togo (West Africa).

We are YHIMURA, a fashion brand with an ethical philosophy born from the passion for enhancing beauty, creating feminine garments with a romantic, yet avant-garde, touch. For years we have dreamed of creating garments that would be able to awaken desire in every woman, regardless of age or silhouette. Garments that would make you feel as if you were a goddess, empowering you. Galvanized around the purpose of finding the “perfect dress” and inspired by the beauty of all female bodies, we took the first steps on this desired and exciting journey. In YHIMURA, we are clear that the keys to create collections that last in time are the quality of the fabrics, the design of the garments and a sustainable and qualitative tailoring.
FABRICS
To ensure that our garments keep their beauty, for longer, we prioritize the use of quality natural fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk, linen and viscose. These fabrics are soft, comfortable, breathable, durable and more sustainable. We are fascinated by the beauty that a dress conveys in every movement creating surprising and powerful figures, effects and shadows. This can only be achieved by enriching the designs with generous fabric dimensions. When we design and make a YHIMURA garment, we do not limit the meters of fabric used in it.
DESIGN
We love diversity in all aspects and, therefore, we do not focus on a single design model. Volume, proportion, shape and colour are qualities that coexist in perfect harmony in our designs. Timeless designs with architectural inspiration and a delicate, yet contemporary, feel.
Tailoring
We are proud to offer a local atelier tailoring option as part of our quality and sustainability strategy. Local atelier tailoring allows us to produce quality garments, produced fairly and ethically, under a partly artisanal production system. Thanks to the proximity we can supervise the entire production chain, while supporting the local economy and promoting responsible and sustainable business practices.

COMMITMENT
It is of vital importance to improve the way we work today in order to build a more sustainable future. Each of our garments is made in local ateliers to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy. This also allows us greater oversight of production practices and ensures better working conditions for workers. We make only 5 units at a time, which is essential for us to be able to deliver our garments quickly so that you can enjoy them as soon as possible. We do not follow the conventional patterns established in the fashion production circuits and thanks to the timelessness of our garments our collection is permanent. We refresh our collection by incorporating new fabrics and colours, while still surprising you with new designs. In short, our textile fashion company is committed to being a responsible and sustainable business, promoting quality, sustainability, labour welfare, ethics and environmental responsibility. These values are fundamental to our mission to deliver high quality products and to have a positive impact on the world.
